  • Born in San Giovanni in Marignano.
  • Baptized in the Church of St Peter.
  • Entered the Rimini diocese minor Seminary.
  • Military service of 3 months (1910) and another 3 months (1913).
  • Ordained priest in the Rimini Cathedral.
  • Appointed assistant parish priest in Pius V parish of Cattolica.
  • Military chaplain at the WW1 frontlines.
  • Discharged from the military service.
  • After10 days of Spiritual Retreat decides to become a missionary.
  • Arrival to Salesian house in Rome, Sacred Heart after leaving the diocese of Rimini, to join the Salesian Congregation of Don Bosco.
  • Starts the Novitiate at Genzano, near Rome.
  • First religious profession.
  • First obedience to Perugia community.
  • Final religious profession in Perugia.
  • Departure for Japan as member of the first missionary group.
  • Arrival to the seaport of Moji in Japan.
  • Miyazaki assistant parish priest to Fr. Vincenzo Cimatti, superior and parish priest.
  • A group of “Daughters of Mary’ organized in the Miyazaki parish.

  • Inauguration of the first infrastructure for the poor senior people, starting the Hospice.
  • Beginning of the ‘Daughters of Charity’, future ‘Caritas Sisters’.

  • Miyazaki ‘Kyugoin’ (Hospice) inaugurated as the general social assistance structure.
  • Foundation of the Japanese ‘Caritas Sisters’.

  • During the visit of Fr Renato Ziggiotti, SDB Rector Major in Japan, receives an appreciation and blessing.
  • Sisters First missionary expedition to Korea.
  • Awarded by the Miyazaki Prefecture Governor and by the Social Welfare Congress President of Miyazaki.
  • Publication of autobiography in response to the strong desires of his fellow villagers.
  • Started his life at ‘Lourdes House’ at the Caritas Sisters Headquarters in Tokyo.
  • Fr Cavoli awarded by the Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
  • Fr Cavoli receives Japan Emperor’s Medal.
  • 50th Anniversary of Priestly ordination .
  • Sisters First missionary expedition to Bolivia.
